We went to the concert in Central Park. The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra were playing. Grieg’s Peer Gynt Suite by Grieg and other pieces… Very enjoyable, with a laser and fireworks ending. The boys particularly enjoyed this bit. However the fireworks at the end made the orchestra impossible to hear!
Another event during the festival week was a steel band. The children enjoyed it and they got a bit of an idea how the steel drums work. It was a welcome relief to us after going into town to close bank accounts that were no-longer used, which took far too long.
